Privacy Policy
clear by design.
How FRCST handles personal data in connection with its public website and direct business communications. This policy reflects the current FRCST technology company and own-capital trading model.
This policy is written for the website FRCST operates today: a public technology and company site, not a fund website, investor portal or client trading service.
Scope and who this policy applies to
This Privacy Policy applies to the public FRCST website at frcst.com and to personal data you choose to provide when you contact FRCST about its technology, company, partnerships or corporate materials.
For the purposes of applicable data-protection law, FRCST is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at info@frcst.com.
Personal data we process
Information you provide directly
If you contact us by email, we may process your name, email address, organisation, role, the contents of your message and any other information you choose to provide. If you request company, technology or corporate materials, we may also retain the context of that request and our correspondence with you.
Technical information generated when the site is used
Like most websites, requests to FRCST may generate technical records in our hosting, content-delivery and security infrastructure. These records can include an IP address, browser and device characteristics, requested URL, date and time, response status and diagnostic or security information.
The website also retrieves public performance-profile data from FRCST-hosted resources. That request is part of displaying the site and is not, by itself, used to create a visitor trading or investment profile.
Cookies, analytics and external resources
At the date of this policy, the public FRCST website does not use FRCST advertising cookies, behavioural tracking cookies or a web-analytics service to profile visitors.
The site loads web fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those files, the provider may receive technical connection data such as your IP address and browser information. Any processing by that provider is subject to its own terms and privacy practices.
If FRCST later introduces analytics, consent-based tracking or other materially different website technologies, this policy will be updated accordingly and, where required, an appropriate consent mechanism will be used.
Why we use personal data
We process personal data only where we have a legitimate reason to do so. Depending on the context, this may include:
- responding to enquiries and providing requested company, technology or corporate information;
- maintaining business correspondence and evaluating potential partnerships, suppliers or corporate opportunities;
- operating, securing, troubleshooting and improving the public website and its infrastructure;
- detecting abuse, fraud or security incidents;
- establishing, exercising or defending legal claims; and
- meeting legal, regulatory, accounting or compliance obligations that apply to FRCST.
Our legal basis will generally be FRCST's legitimate interests, steps taken at your request before entering into an agreement, compliance with a legal obligation, or—where specifically requested by law—your consent.
When data may be shared
FRCST does not sell personal data. We may disclose limited personal data where necessary to organisations that support our operations, including hosting, content-delivery, security, email and other technology providers.
We may also share information with professional advisers, auditors, insurers, counterparties or authorities where this is necessary for legitimate business purposes, a corporate transaction, the protection of rights and security, or compliance with law.
Service providers are expected to process personal data only for the relevant service and subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
International data transfers
Some technology or communications providers may process data in countries outside the European Economic Area. Where personal data is transferred internationally, FRCST seeks to rely on a legally recognised transfer mechanism or another appropriate safeguard where required by applicable data-protection law.
The exact processing location can depend on the provider, network route and service used at the time of the request.
How long we retain data
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, taking into account operational, legal, security and record-keeping requirements.
- Business correspondence is retained for as long as the relationship, enquiry or potential transaction remains relevant and thereafter where a reasonable record is required.
- Technical and security logs are generally retained for limited operational periods determined by the relevant infrastructure and security configuration.
- Records required by law may be kept for the applicable statutory retention period.
Data that is no longer required is deleted, anonymised or allowed to expire in accordance with the relevant system's retention process.
Your data-protection rights
If the GDPR or comparable data-protection law applies to you, you may have rights including access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, objection to certain processing, data portability and withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent.
You can exercise a relevant right by contacting info@frcst.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority. In the Netherlands, this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
How we protect information
FRCST applies technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. Measures are selected according to the nature of the systems and information involved and may include access controls, secure infrastructure, logging, monitoring and controlled administration.
No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Security controls reduce risk but cannot eliminate it entirely.
Policy changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy when the website, our operating model, applicable law or the technologies we use materially change. The current version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
